MACHINE ROUTE SPECIALIST ($37,000-$40,000 annually)
Pull-Tab Machine/Electronic Specialist
Full-Time, salaried exempt, Reports to the Senior Assistant Gambling Manager-Inventory
The Pull-Tab Machine Specialist will oversee the sites that primarily operate as pull-tab machine sites. They will ensure that CLIMB Theatre pull-tab machines are consistently operational and that all assets associated with the gaming machines are protected. The Pull–tab Machine Specialist will strive to maintain a cordial and professional relationship with bar owners and management of CLIMB Theatre gaming sites and serve as their primary point of contact in regards to ensuring that CLIMB’s pull–tab dispensing machines and electronic pull tabs are operational.
Cash handling of e-tabs
Responsibilities
- General Maintenance of Pull-Tab Machines.
- Manage inventory and cash associated with Pull-Tab Machines.
- Serve as on-call contact during evening hours.
- Communicate the closing and opening of games to supervisor.
- Oversee inventory levels for pull-tab machines.
- Manage cash banks and cash dispenser in pull-tab machines.
- Transport closed games from sites to CLIMB offices in a timely fashion
- Ensure Pull-Tab Machines and assets within are secure.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of equipment.

Travel
Travel is primarily contained within the seven county metro. There will be times, however, when trips to sites on the Iron Range will be necessary. All travel is expected to be done in a CLIMB vehicle. In times when vehicle is not available, employee will use own vehicle and be reimbursed for mileage.

SITE WORKER/SELLER ($10.50-13/hour +tips)
Pull-Tab and Charitable Gaming Booth Worker
Part-time position, hourly, Reports to the Site Lead
The Pull-Tab and Charitable Gaming Booth Worker will conduct the sale of Pull-Tabs, Meat Raffles, Bingo, Tip Board, and any other charitable games at the Charitable Gaming site. They will ensure that CLIMB Theatre’s sales of games are legal, accurate and properly secured. The Pull-Tab and Charitable Gaming Booth Worker will strive to maintain a cordial and professional relationship with all customers and staff of CLIMB Theatre gaming sites.
Responsibilities
- General Sales of Pull-Tabs, Meat Raffle, Bingo, Tip Board, Electronic Pull-Tabs etc.
- Manage inventory and cash associated with the sale of charitable games, through the accurate sale of charitable games
- Record all charitable games per Gambling Control Board and CLIMB’s regulations
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere for CLIMB’s customers
- Ensure the booth is properly opened, closed, and secured at all times to prevent theft
- Accurately exchange money for sale of charitable games; as well as provide accurate prize payouts ensuring all required information is gathered and paperwork properly documented

ASSISTANT GAMBLING MANAGER: INVENTORY ($45-50k annually)
Assistant Gambling Manager (Inventory Control)
Full time position, salary exempt 40+, benefits, Reports to the Gambling Manager
The Assistant Gambling Manager (inventory control) is responsible for ensuring that the proper procedures are maintained in regard to all open and closed gaming inventory and merchandise in accordance with the state laws and internal policies of CLIMB Theatre. They must be a highly detail oriented individual who is able to not only follow procedures but quickly problem solve and offer improvements to the leadership of the organization. The Assistant Gambling Manager works works closely with the Gambling Manager to develop and execute policies and procedures that maintain the highest standard of compliance and security in regards to all charitable gaming efforts within the organization. In addition to this, they will also work closely with the Assistant Gambling Manager (finance) to supervise all site leads and ensure that they are following any policy or procedure that has been set forth by the Gambling Manager and/or CEO.
Responsibilities
- Record monthly gambling report and authorization of expenditures in organization meeting
- Conduct month-end inventory at all sites
- Maintain merchandise inventory records
- Compare month-end physical inventory to perpetual inventory & reconcile differences
- Manage and monitor the deposit line and ensure that all closed games are deposited in compliance with the gambling control board
- Works in with CLIMB Theatre staff, Gambling Manager and Artistic Director to develop training for gaming employees
- Verifies cash banks
- Works with Gambling Manager to investigate and resolve cash shortages
- Performs random spot checks at gaming sites as well as of closed games
- Provide supervision and guidance to auditor, site leads and sellers in all matter in regards to inventory and GCB compliance
- Attend and participate in monthly all-staff meetings
- Maintain proper documentation and distribute to the proper parties anything in regards to defective inventory and/or products
- Attend Annual Allied Charities Convention
Supervisory Responsibility
This position manages and leads all auditors. In addition to this, the Assistant Gambling Manager (inventory) works in concert with the Assistant Gambling Manager (finance) to oversees and monitors the conduct of site leads in regards to all inventory and merchandise.

The Assistant Gambling Manager (Finance) is responsible for ensuring that the proper procedures are maintained in regard to payroll, bank deposits, invoicing and tax reporting in accordance with the state laws and internal policies of CLIMB Theatre. They must be a highly detail oriented individual who is able to not only follow procedures but quickly problem solve and offer improvements to the leadership of the organization. The Assistant Gambling Manager of Finance works works closely with the Gambling Manager to develop and execute policies and procedures that maintain the highest standard of compliance and security in regards to all charitable gaming efforts within the organization. In addition to this, they will also work closely with the Assistant Gambling Manager (inventory) to supervise all site leads and ensure that they are following any policy or procedure in regards to financial and hr that has been set forth by the Gambling Manager and/or CEO.
Responsibilities
- Maintains Check register for all gaming accounts
- Prepares checks and electronic transaction authorizations for signatures
- Ensures that all bank deposits are reconciled
- Processes payroll for all gaming staff
- Communicate regularly and maintain a working relationship with gaming tax accountants and Gambling Manager
- Processes and maintains record of all invoices, orders and other expenditures in relation to gaming
- Works with CLIMB Theatre staff, Gambling Manager and Artistic Director/CEO to develop training for gaming employees
- Works with Gambling Manager to investigate fund losses in gaming
- Provide supervision and guidance to site leads
- Attend and participate in monthly all-staff meetings

GAMBLING MANAGER ($50-55k annually)
Gambling Manager
Full time position, salary exempt 40+, benefits, Reports to the CEO/Artistic Director
The Gambling Manager position is responsible for all charitable gaming operations and staff. Will be a strategist and a leader able to steer the company’s charitable gaming ventures to the most profitable direction while also implementing its vision, mission and long term goals. Working along side the CEO/Artistic Director to ensure the company is constantly moving towards fulfilling its short and long-term objectives and does not diverge from its strategic guidelines while ensuring all laws and regulations surrounding charitable gaming are 100% compliant.
Responsibilities
- Ensure, champion, and promote CLIMB’s Mission, Vision, and Values internally and externally act as a public representative of the organization to strengthen our profile
- Execute and oversee the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and CEO/Artistic Director
- Provide strategic advice to the CEO so they have accurate view of the market and the company’s future
- Determining product to be purchased and put into play
- Ensuring all receipts, disbursements, and inventory records have been properly accounted for, reconciled, and in compliance with statute and rule requirements
- Oversee organizational compliance with all statutes and rules related to lawful gambling; including filing of all monthly and annual reports and licensing requirements
- Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and followed
- Train, delegate and oversee the work of Assistant Gambling Managers providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance while empowering them to provide the same for their staff
- Review submitted reports from gaming staff to reward performance, prevent issues and resolve problems
- Attend meetings, including all staff, gaming membership, and assigned committee meetings
Requirements
- Experience and knowledge of the Minnesota Charitable Gaming industry, laws, and regulations
- Be eligible to be licensed by the Gambling Control Board
- Must attend the Gambling Manager Class and pass the written test within 30 days
- Thorough knowledge of all forms of charitable gaming (pull-tabs, electronic pull tabs, e-linked bingo, tip boards, paddle wheel, bingo, raffles)
- Be eligible for a $10,000 bond
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, with focus on Word and Excel
- Strong organizational, leadership, negotiation skills
- Proven communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities

This position includes hiring Assistant Gambling Managers and is responsible for the performance management of the employees within those department(s).
