Bullying Prevention Classes (6-12)


Bullying and school violence are problems in middle and high schools across the country. CLIMB’s classes help put a stop to it.


Educational Objectives

1. To define bullying.
2. To encourage students to examine various roles in a bullying situation.
3. To provide opportunity for students to identify the social structures in their schools that encourage bullying.
4. To brainstorm possible bystander and target responses to a bullying situation.
5. To empower students to change their school climate.

Bullying isn’t a rite of passage. It can have lasting emotional, physical, and psychological consequences. CLIMB’s anti-bullying classes are down-to-earth, engaging, and practical–and help middle and high school students know what to do when they see it happening. Without using lectures or cliches, CLIMB’s classes can help change school culture and make it safer for all students.
