CLIMB Classes
Interactive. Imaginative. Inspiring.

CLIMB Theatre’s classes are made up of age-appropriate activities and scenes that either teach an important lesson or provoke new thoughts about an issue that kids deal with every day.  Classes are research-based and responsibly written to achieve specific educational objectives.  They also provide an opportunity for creativity, play and fun—which is part of what makes them effective education.  But don’t take our word for it…learn about independent research of CLIMB’s work here. 

We audition over 2,000 actors and educators before choosing the twenty who will comprise our Teaching Company.  Once hired, these actors are trained thoroughly by coaches who have spent plenty of time in the classroom themselves.  Working in pairs, each team brings its own costumes, props and music directly into your school’s classrooms.  After the class, CLIMB provides each teacher with a follow-up activity to continue the exploration.  Our topics include, but are not limited to:  Bullying, Respect, Friendship, Self-Control, Environmental Conservation, Acceptance of Differences, and Substance Abuse Prevention.
