CLIMB Summer Theatre Education Camp
PRODUCT: CLIMB Theatre proposes to provide a week-long series of 1.5 hr classes per day in Centers. The classes will provide rudimentary theatre skills so that participants can create an original presentation they will share with their classmates and families. The series will be process, not product focused and the presentations will be simple and low key so that students (of all ages) have a positive experience eliminating performance anxiety. INSTRUCTORS: Classes will be taught by a trained team of two Actor-Educators CLASS SIZE: Classes will be limited to 35 students (per section) LOGISTICS: CLIMB can serve up to four sections per center each day. The “sharing event” that students will perform will take place at the end of the regularly scheduled session on Day 5 of the training. COST: $500/per section.
